So you mean that it does not work with localhost ??
This is what i meant locally.
For example my blog is at :
(via http)
localhost/~GSif/wordpress/
and the thumbnails/featured are into the uploads folder.
What i give as path in the posts is something like that :
(via http)
localhost/~GSif/wordpress/wpcontent/uploads/2009/12/under_construction.gif
which is the absolute path of a gif file.(I can see it via the webbrowser by hitting the exact path )

Yes, it won’t work on localhost (offline server in ur PC, like XAMPP) . And about the flickr, activate the flickrRSS plugin, then you can configure it in Setting->flickrRSS
1.About the featured images, do they have to be specific size? I mean they are not transferred like the thumbnails isnt?
2.Is there any chance to give us the comments.php ,applicable for 2.6 WordPress server? My host runs previous wordpress and the comments.php gives multiple errors in functions that do not exist .
A customer of mine absolutely wants this theme for his website’s look & feel. I have installed it for him, and just discovered that your instructions does not mention the “Featured Content Gallery” plugin at all.

Hi guys.
The theme you created is the best i could find to set a fantasy football club related pages.
However i have problems with “featured” and “thumbnail” custom fields.
I followed the instructions very carefully but it seems that it is not working properly.
What i did :
- I checked the permisions all ok
- I checked the location of the images in the uploads directory, all ok
- Cache folder is there.
However in the cache folder nothing is created ( i guess i should see variations of the image isnt?)
Please help me with that.
(The server is locally so that i could check and fix the issues,after i finish i ll intergrated in a remote wordpress server.)

I tested with various sizes but i cant figure out how it works.
I can see only the text in the slideshow in the bottom part.
When I press refresh , it shows the image for 1 sec along with the text behind and then it disappears

WOW it worked !! It seems that it needed more than one post with featured enabled ! Great stuff.
