Hello there,
I need your help very badly.
I have installed Falkner Sphere at my blog. I have tried to put widgets on the sidebar but I don’t know why they do not appear on the front. This isn’t the first time I have installed widgets. I have tried doing it with other themes and I made them appear on other themes. I wonder why I can’t make the widgets appear in the Falkner Sphere theme.
I am using WordPress 2.8. I have linked my site to my name here so you can see it.

Hey, my site is fetchblog.com and I am having problems with the featured section of my website. I am hosting with HostGator and had them whitelist my website but its still not showing up for some reason. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

  Pls READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION ABOVE. Make sure u already insert category name you want to be appear in featured post slideshow via the theme options panel.

I’m testing out your theme to see if I like the layout, but my images won’t show in the featured gallery. And yes I’ve followed the instructions but the pics aren’t showing–the slider’s working but no pic is showing, only the name of the pic. Is there a trick to getting this to show the pics?

  Nevermind–I got the featured gallery working. In order for it to work there has to be at least two images connected to the category. Great theme by-the-way.

Just passing to say that there are an error in the comments section, I resolve it, just going to the CSS and edit the input#author, input#email, input#url textarea#comment to color:#000

Hi,

These templates are really great !!! I loved them !!

I installed the Glow one, but there is a problem : home page doesn’t work.
I have the slide show, the articles and… nothing else… :s

When I go to an article page, everything is here (twitter, tags, recent comments,..)

Could you help me please ? :s

Hi,

I just want to say that your falker themes don’t work (only the home page) when the plugin WP-PageNavi is enable.
It just has to be disable in order to make the themes work as they aldready include pages navigation

The slideshow feature is driving me crazy! I have everything else working.

I have created the “featured” custom field and set a featured Category, and added three posts in this category, and made sure the featured images were uploaded on my site–nothing shows up in the slideshow window. I have spent 7 hours getting this to run and it still doesn’t work.

One thing I notice is that Categories are “pending” althought they show up on the site fine. Any help? Please…

Another small issue is that the banner ads do not open a new browser window, but move your user off of your website.

I am growing to like this template a lot. It really is attractive. A somewhat more detailed tutorial would be very helpful.

If I knew the product a bit better, or we could write out some more detail, I could do one for you using Camtasia…(I got the template free; I’d do the tutorial free, as long as you left my credit in it as I do your on the template.) You have my email if you are interested.

The theme is great, first everything worked great, but suddenly the Post Thumbnail stopped to work… The photo in the main area (featured) shows for a second and then disappear. There is the title of the post but no photo… Do you know why is like that? What should I check or change?

Same as above comments, my flash wouldn’t work also.

I am having a strange problem. Actually 2 but I suspect they are related.

1.
I made 7 test posts and 2 of them that are in the “slideshow” category don’t get summarized, and the text overflows so to speak.

2.
All the 7 seven posts are showing on the main page. Unlike the template where there are only 3 posts and then you have to click the next page.

Problem 2 solved: It’s from the READING SETTINGS of wordpress.

But I can’t understand why the text is overflowing.

To be more precise for some posts the format is:

text text text text text text text text text text text text text [...]
——————————————
which is ok

but for some the text just overflows:
—————————————–
text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text and so on…..
—————————————–

Is somebody ever had problem with Falkner Glow?

I already used same method, articles, and photo from my other web theme with Falkner Sky, but still the slideshow won’t work.

Please help me, I think Falkner Glow has very cool design. Too bad if it can’t work properly.

-if just write something it will overflow..

-it’ll compress to the left..

I understand that I have to re-enter the video code whenever I change the theme options, but I am doing that and saving and it is always saving with the triple slashes. I had it working before changing one of the 85×85 buttons..not sure how to resolve this now.

for those of you struggling with the “glow” theme and getting the slideshow to work, the author forgot to put an empty “cache” folder directly into the “falkner-glow” folder. Simply create a folder called “cache” on your desktop, drag n drop it into the “falkner-glow” folder, and your slideshow should work (as long as you have adhered to everything else as well). Author really needs to correct this, as it took me a while to figure out. Thanks for the nice theme.

Is there a way to use the gallery as a slideshow. I I don’t want the post titles to show as the caption for my photos, I want to add my own captions. Also I don’t want the slideshow to be connected to a post at all. I created a post and edited the post date back to 2009 because I don’t want the readers to actually view the post but I wanted it to appear in the gallery. i have found that only recent post will appear in the gallery. Is there anyway to change this in the script?

I love this theme but I cannot get the slide show to function. I am doing everything correctly as far as I can tell. I have installed several themes in the past so I am not a newbie. Is there something I am missing?
I have added the 2 custom fields and check the correct category. Is there another plugin that may be interfering with this? I get the navigation but no photos. Is there a certain size the photos need to be?

i have no idea what is wrong with the thumbnail or feature images. I struggled for 6 hours on Friday in the office and they didn’t work. I looked at the website on Saturday morning at home on a wireless dongle and they were working beautifully. Great theme for free!
But i have this error message in home page.

“Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_pagenavi() (previously declared in /home/a8953083/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-pagenavi/wp-pagenavi.php:30) in /home/a8953083/public_html/wp-content/themes/falkner-flush/wp-pagenavi.php on line 165″

Any solution?!

and in wp-content/themes/falkner-flush/wp-pagenavi.php on line 165 i have this:

“}”

So, how to correct this error?
